The Duties of the Levite Families
Numbers 4
The Lord details how the sons of Caath, Gedson, and Merari, numbered from thirty to fifty years old, are each to carry the tabernacle's furnishings and structure when the camp moves, with Aaron and his sons covering the holy things beforehand so the Levites do not die from looking on them. The chapter closes with the total numbering of the three Levite families fit for this service.
