Othniel, Ehud, and Shamgar

Judges 3

The Lord leaves certain nations to test Israel, who intermarry with them and serve their gods, prompting the Lord to sell them into the hands of foreign oppressors; Othniel delivers Israel from Chushan-rishathaim, and Ehud kills Eglon king of Moab with a hidden dagger before leading Israel to defeat the Moabites. The chapter closes with Shamgar striking down six hundred Philistines with an ox-goad.
