Abram and Lot Separate
Genesis 13
After returning from Egypt, Abram and Lot part ways because their combined possessions are too great for the land to support, and Lot chooses the well-watered plain of Jordan near Sodom while Abram remains in Chanaan. The Lord then renews his promise of the land and countless descendants to Abram, who settles by the oak of Mambre in Chebrom.
