A New Song of Salvation
Psalms 97
The psalmist calls all the earth to sing a new song because the Lord has worked salvation and made his righteousness known to the nations, remembering his mercy to Jacob and the house of Israel. It summons harp, trumpet, sea, and rivers to join in praise before the Lord, who comes to judge the world in righteousness.
