None Like Thee Among the Gods

Psalms 85

In a personal prayer, David appeals to God as poor and needy, asking for preservation, mercy, and a listening ear in his day of trouble, and confesses that no other god's works compare to the Lord's, so that all nations will come to worship him. He asks to be taught God's way and to walk in his truth, giving thanks for a mercy that has delivered his soul from the depths.
