Mercy and Truth Meet Together
Psalms 84
The psalmist recalls how the Lord once turned back the captivity of Jacob and forgave his people's sins, and now prays for that mercy to be renewed, asking that God's anger cease and his salvation return. He anticipates a time when mercy and truth meet together and righteousness and peace embrace, and the land yields its increase as the Lord's righteousness goes before him.
