The Nations Called to Praise
Psalms 66
A short prayer asks God to be merciful, bless his people, and make his face shine upon them so that his way may be known on the earth and his salvation among all nations. The psalm calls on all peoples to give thanks and rejoice because God judges with equity and guides the nations, closing with the promise that the earth has yielded its fruit and that all the ends of the earth will fear him.
