Trust Not in Princes

Psalms 145

The psalm urges praise to the Lord while one has breath and warns against trusting in princes, whose plans perish with their breath, contrasting them with the God of Jacob who executes judgment for the wronged, feeds the hungry, and cares for the fettered, the blind, the orphan, and the widow.
