Lifting Up the Lowly
Psalms 112
This psalm calls the servants of the Lord to praise his name from the rising of the sun to its setting, for though he is exalted above all nations and dwells on high, he stoops to lift the poor from the earth and the needy from the dunghill. He seats them with princes and gives the barren woman a joyful home as a mother rejoicing over children.
