The Priest-King at God's Right Hand
Psalms 109
In this short psalm, the Lord speaks to David's Lord, seating him at his right hand until his enemies are made his footstool, and sending forth his power out of Sion for him to rule in the midst of his enemies. The Lord swears an irrevocable oath that this one is a priest forever after the order of Melchisedec, and declares that he will judge the nations and be exalted.
