Confidence of Victory Over the Nations
Psalms 107
David expresses readiness to sing and give thanks to the Lord among the nations, then recounts the Lord's word claiming Shechem, Gilead, Manasseh, Ephraim, Judah, Moab, Edom, and Philistia as his own. He asks for the Lord's help against the enemy, since human help is vain, and closes with confidence that through God they will act valiantly and overcome their foes.
