The Dedication of the Wall
Nehemiah 12
The chapter lists the priests and Levites who came up with Zerubbabel and their successors, then recounts how the priests and Levites purified themselves and the people before leading two great processions with singers and instruments along the top of the completed wall in a dedication marked by great rejoicing and sacrifice.
