The Covenant at Shechem

Joshua 24

Joshua gathers all Israel at Selo and recounts the Lord's dealings with their fathers, from Abraam through the exodus, the wilderness, and the conquest of the land. He calls the people to choose whom they will serve, and after they twice affirm their choice of the Lord, he makes a covenant with them, sets up a stone as a witness, and the chapter closes with the deaths and burials of Joshua and Eleazar.
