The Inheritance of Manasseh
Joshua 17
Land is assigned to the families of Manasse, including a portion for the daughters of Salpaad, who receive an inheritance among their father's brethren by the Lord's command since he had no sons. The sons of Joseph complain that their allotted territory is too small, and Joshua tells them to clear the forested hill country for themselves since the Canaanites there, though strong, can be overcome.
