The Cup of the Lord's Wrath

Jeremiah 32

The Lord commands Jeremiah to take a cup of wine from his hand and make all the nations he is sent to drink it, including Jerusalem and Judah, Egypt, the Philistine cities, Edom, Moab, Ammon, Tyre, Sidon, and many kingdoms of the earth, so that they stagger and fall by the sword he is sending. The chapter closes with a description of the Lord's roar from on high against all the earth, and the wailing of shepherds and rulers whose peaceful pastures have been destroyed.
