Judgment on Edom, Ammon, and Damascus

Jeremiah 30

The Lord pronounces judgment in turn on Edom, whose wisdom and strongholds will fail, on Ammon, whose cities will become a desolate ruin while Israel regains its land, on Kedar and the kingdoms of the desert, whose tents and flocks will be plundered, and on Damascus, whose young men will fall and whose walls will burn. Each oracle warns that these peoples cannot escape the coming disaster the Lord has decreed against them.
