The Prophet's Marriage
Hosea 1
The word of the Lord comes to Hosea in the days of certain kings of Judah and Israel, and he is commanded to take a wife and have children of fornication as a sign of the land's unfaithfulness. Their three children are given symbolic names, Jezrael, Unpitied, and Not My People, marking the Lord's coming judgment on the house of Israel.
