Joseph Reveals Himself

Genesis 45

Joseph, overcome with emotion, sends the Egyptians away and reveals to his brothers that he is Joseph, telling them not to be grieved since God sent him ahead to preserve life during the famine. Pharao rejoices at the news and sends wagons and provisions so that Jacob and the whole family may come down to Egypt, and when Jacob hears that Joseph is alive he resolves to go and see him before he dies.
