The Fall of Israel's Kings
2 Kings 15
Israel passes rapidly from king to king as Zechariah, Shallum, and Pekahiah are each murdered by the men who succeed them, and Assyria begins carrying off Israelite territory under Pekah. In Judah, Azariah reigns long but is struck with leprosy and rules apart while his son Jotham governs, and Jotham succeeds him as a king who does what is right.
