The Man of God from Juda

1 Kings 13

A man of God comes from Juda to prophesy against Jeroboam's altar at Bæthel, and though the king's withered hand is restored at his prayer, he is later deceived by an old prophet into breaking the Lord's command not to eat there, and is killed by a lion on his way home for his disobedience.
