Solomon Anointed King
1 Kings 1
As the aged David grows feeble, his son Adonias exalts himself and prepares to seize the throne, but Nathan and Bersabee intervene and David orders Solomon anointed king at Gion, causing Adonias's supporters to scatter and Adonias himself to seek refuge at the altar.
