Deliverance from the Nations
Sirach 33
The chapter is a prayer asking the Lord to have mercy on Israel, to show his power against the nations that do not know him, and to gather the scattered tribes of Jacob together. It ends with a brief remark that a cheerful and good heart takes care for its food and manner of life.
