Prayer for the King
Psalms 19
This psalm prays that the Lord will hear the king in the day of trouble, grant the desires of his heart, and accept his offerings, expressing confidence that God has saved his anointed and closing with a plea for the Lord to save the king.

ThomsonTHE Lord hearken to thee in a day of distress! The name of the God of Jacob defend thee;

ThomsonNow I know that the Lord hath saved His anointed. From His holy heaven He will hearken to him. The salvation of His right hand is with power.
