Out of the Depths
Psalms 129
A Song of Degrees in which the psalmist cries to the Lord out of the depths, pleading for his supplication to be heard, and acknowledges that no one could stand if the Lord marked iniquities, for with him is forgiveness. He waits for the Lord as a watchman waits for the morning, and calls Israel to hope in the Lord's abundant mercy and redemption.
