The Mountain of the Lord

Isaiah 2

Isaiah foresees a day when the mountain of the Lord's house will be raised above every hill and all nations will stream to it to learn the Lord's ways, ending war as swords are beaten into plowshares. The chapter then turns to warn that Judah's land, filled with idols, silver, and horses, is ripe for a day of the Lord that will bring low every proud and lofty thing while the Lord alone is exalted.
