The River from the Temple

Ezekiel 47

A man leads the prophet along a river flowing out from under the threshold of the temple, growing deeper with each measured thousand cubits until it becomes water too deep to cross, and he is shown that it heals the waters it reaches, bringing abundant fish and fruit-bearing trees along its banks. The Lord then declares the borders of the land that Israel is to inherit by lot, including provision for the strangers dwelling among them.
