Laws of Justice and Feasts
Exodus 23
The Lord gives Israel further laws of justice, including fair treatment of the poor and of an enemy's stray animal, and commands rest for the land every seventh year and rest each week for servants and animals. He also instructs Israel to keep three yearly feasts to the Lord, and promises to send an angel ahead of them to guide them into the land and drive out its nations, provided they do not worship other gods.
