The Crossing of the Red Sea

Exodus 14

Pharao pursues the fleeing Israelites with his chariots and army and traps them by the sea, but at the Lord's command Moses stretches out his hand and the sea divides, letting Israel pass through on dry ground. The pursuing Egyptian army is drowned when the waters return, and Israel, seeing the Lord's great power, fears him and believes in him and in Moses.
