Remembering the Wilderness
Deuteronomy 8
Moses tells Israel to remember how the Lord led them through the wilderness forty years, humbling them with hunger and feeding them manna to teach them that man does not live by bread alone. He warns them not to forget the Lord and grow proud in heart once they eat freely and prosper in the good land.
