2 Samuel 11
While his army besieges Rabbath, David remains in Jerusalem, sees Bersabee bathing and takes her, and after she conceives he arranges for her husband Urias to be killed in battle so that he can take her as his wife, an act the text says was evil in the eyes of the Lord.
