Joatham does what is right before the Lord, builds towns and fortifications throughout Judah, and prevails in war against the Ammonites, who pay him tribute.

ThomsonJOATHAM was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem; and his mother’s name was Jerusa. She was a daughter of Sadok.
